Active Media Consulting has officially launched the “Green Light Podcast“, a platform dedicated to celebrating success stories in sustainability, community development, and entrepreneurship.
Green Light Podcast
The podcast aims to foster dialogue, exploring the challenges and opportunities in these critical areas while encouraging knowledge sharing and promoting a sustainability-focused culture across society.
Hosted by Dr. Shaimaa El-Badawy, a journalist and expert in sustainability and community development, the show is set to spotlight impactful initiatives and innovative ideas.
“Recently, there has been growing attention to the intersection of community development, sustainability, and climate change, alongside adaptation strategies and their societal impacts,” Dr. El-Badawy remarked.
She highlighted that the podcast is a response to the increasing demand for showcasing developmental efforts and their influence on economic, social, and environmental spheres.
“While the government, private sector, and civil society are making significant strides in these fields, media coverage remains insufficient,” she added.
The “Green Light Podcast” seeks to fill this gap by inviting prominent figures in sustainable development to share their expertise, featuring pioneering initiatives and real-world success stories that inspire change.
“The exchange of ideas and experiences is a key driver of positive transformation,” Dr. El-Badawy emphasized. “This podcast will serve as a platform for inspiration and education, paving the way for a more sustainable future.”
The first episode premieres today, featuring Dr. Hanaa Helmy, Head of Sustainability at EFG Holding and CEO of the EFG Foundation for Development, who will share her insights on impactful sustainability practices.
