The New Urban Communities Authority and Zero Carbon Sustainable Development Company signed a cooperation protocol witnessed by Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny.
The initiative focuses on recycling construction, demolition, and drilling waste in new cities, starting with the Homeland Project Services in New Cairo.

Minister Sherif El-Sherbiny highlighted the project’s importance, describing it as a significant step towards improving Egypt’s waste treatment and recycling systems, benefiting the environment and economy.
The project aligns with Egypt’s efforts under President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s leadership.

The project will help produce “green material” from recycled waste for use in road construction, reducing costs and preserving real estate wealth.
By maximizing land use and optimizing resources, it supports the state’s sustainable development goals.
Technical Details of the Recycling Process:
Engineer Amin Ghoneim emphasized that the project will treat and recycle around 3.3 million cubic meters of waste, producing material that meets Egyptian standards.
The initiative saves 70% of diesel fuel compared to traditional extraction and transportation methods.

Engineer Karim Al-Saba, CEO of Zero Carbon Sustainable Development Company, explained the company’s strategy, which includes using advanced equipment for waste treatment and material production.
