Empowering Real Estate Innovators Cairo, Egypt, 8 September 2024 – In an exciting move to empower the next generation of real estate innovators, Cityscape Egypt is introducing the inaugural Egypt Proptech Challenge as part of its 13th edition.
This pioneering Proptech Acceleration Program, powered by PROPTEX, seeks to support startups leading the digital transformation in the real estate sector across the MENA region.
The competition is set to take place during Cityscape Talks on 25 September 2024, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) in New Cairo.
Spotlight on Emerging Startups As Egypt’s first-ever Proptech Challenge, this competition offers startups a platform to present their innovative ideas to a prestigious audience of investors, industry experts, and entrepreneurs. The challenge aims to revolutionize the real estate industry through groundbreaking solutions, with exciting prizes on offer.
The first-place winner will receive a free startup pod at the 2025 edition of Cityscape Egypt, while the second and third-place winners will gain exposure through exclusive interviews with Cityscape Intelligence, the region’s leading real estate intelligence platform.
Esteemed Panel of Judges The competition will feature a distinguished panel of judges, including Eng. Abdallah Salam, CEO & President of Madinet Masr; Mohamed Farouk, Group Chairman and CEO of Mobica and former judge on Egypt’s Shark Tank; Zeina Mandour, Venture Investments Manager at DAR Ventures; and Dina El-Shenoufy, Chief Investment Officer at Flat6Labs. In addition to the startup pitches, the event will include a panel discussion titled “Future-Proofing Real Estate: Innovations, Technology, and Strategic Venture Investments”, where industry leaders will discuss the latest trends and opportunities shaping the future of real estate.
