British Council Champions English Language Advancement at 29th NileTESOL Conference in Egypt

The British Council proudly sponsored the 29th edition of the NileTESOL Conference, the leading event for English language educators in the Middle East and North Africa. Held from January 31 to February 1, the conference welcomed over 4,000 members of the NileTESOL community, fostering an environment for knowledge exchange, best practice sharing, and professional development.

British Council Sponsors 140 Egyptian Teachers

As a key sponsor, the British Council invited Pilar Aramayo, Global Head of English in Education at the British Council, as the plenary speaker. Her session offered attendees valuable insights drawn from her extensive experience in shaping national and international education strategies.

She emphasized the critical connection between curriculum design, teacher development, and global education policies, offering fresh perspectives on modern educational challenges.

Further demonstrating its commitment to empowering educators, the British Council sponsored 140 teachers from across Egypt to attend the event, providing them with opportunities to enhance their skills and connect with fellow professionals.
