Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait – Egypt (ABK-Egypt), in partnership with the Ibrahim Ahmed Badran Medical Charity Foundation (IBF), has successfully concluded three years of impactful collaboration. The initiative dispatched 24 medical convoys, offering healthcare services to underserved areas across Al Qalyubia, Al Sharqia, and El Beheira governorates.
Comprehensive Medical Services for Thousands of Children
Over the past three years, the partnership achieved the following:
- 24 medical convoys: 10 in Al Qalyubia, 4 in Al Sharqia, and 10 in El Beheira.
- 26,057 medical examinations for children in specialties including:
- Pediatrics.
- Dermatology.
- Orthopedics.
- Otolaryngology.
- Ophthalmology.
- Provision of essential medications to ensure comprehensive care for all cases.
Raising Awareness Alongside Medical Care
In addition to medical services, the project conducted public health awareness lectures, benefitting 22,495 children and their families. These lectures addressed essential health topics, encouraging better hygiene and preventive care practices in the targeted communities.
Supporting Underserved and Remote Areas
The medical convoys were specifically aimed at reaching underserved and remote areas, ensuring access to quality healthcare for communities in need. IBF’s mission to deliver healthcare services to the furthest reaches of Egypt was made possible through the bank’s continuous support.
